Refund and cancellation policy

This policy applies to professional review engagements offered by AI CommNet Digital (app analytics integrity reviews, financial control audits for SaaS, and SaaS KPI control reviews). The website does not sell physical products or software subscriptions.

Eligibility

Refund requests must relate to a paid engagement or deposit under a written outline or engagement letter. Informational browsing of this site involves no charge.

Timeframe to request

Contact hello@ai-commnet.digital within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (cancellation, material scope dispute, or missed start date caused by us), and no later than the final invoice date unless the engagement letter sets a different window.

Full refund

A full refund of amounts paid is available if:

• We cancel the engagement before fieldwork begins for reasons within our control; or
• You cancel in writing more than 10 business days before the agreed start date and no preparatory work beyond the free scoping call has been delivered.

Partial refund

If you cancel between 10 and 3 business days before the start date, we retain up to 30% of the engagement fee (or the deposit, if larger) to cover scheduling and preparation, and refund the remainder of amounts paid.

If fieldwork has begun, refunds are limited to the unused portion of the fee after deducting completed workshops, sampling days, and draft work already delivered, documented in a short close-out note.

Non-refundable items

• Completed workshops and delivered draft or final packs
• Third-party costs already incurred with your written approval (for example, regional travel booked for on-site work)
• Paid discovery weeks once the discovery memo has been delivered

Deposits

Deposits secure a start date. They are applied to the final fee. Deposits follow the full/partial rules above when you cancel.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule once without penalty if you give at least 5 business days notice and a new date within 60 days is agreed. Further reschedules may incur an administrative fee stated in a change note.

No-shows

If sponsors fail to attend a booked workshop without 24 hours notice, that session is marked delivered for fee purposes. We will offer one courtesy reschedule where calendars allow.

Work already started

Once evidence review or workshops begin, fees for completed stages are due. Unused future stages may be refunded or credited toward a redefined scope by written agreement.

Materials

We do not sell physical materials. Templates included in a final pack remain yours under the engagement letter; refunds do not require their return, but reuse rights follow that letter.

Process

1. Email hello@ai-commnet.digital with the engagement reference, reason, and preferred remedy (refund or reschedule).
2. We confirm eligibility within 5 business days.
3. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible.

Method and currency

Refunds are issued in MYR to the original payer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Exceptions

Statutory rights under Malaysian consumer law that cannot be waived remain available where they apply. Enterprise engagements may include custom cancellation clauses that prevail when signed.
